# \_delete

Delete a Stock item

Note that deleting a stock item should only be done if the item has never been used in a job. Otherwise, the job data will be incomplete. Because of this, we only allow a stock item to be deleted after it has been archived first. Archiving a stock item should be enough in most cases, as it has the effect of removing the the stock item from the general lists of items that users see. Deleting a stock item should be done only when you are certain it is okay.

### Parameters

#### id

Integer ID for the stock item.

### Example

```
FM_api('Stock_delete',
	[
		'id'=>'7'
	]
);
```

### Result if stock is not archived

```
{"error":"can only delete stock that is archived"}
```

### Result if stock is archived

```
{"ok":1}
```
