# \_setWarranty

Sets the date that an Asset's warranty ends.

### Parameters

#### id

The ID of the Asset for which the end of the warranty will be set.

#### val

The date which the warranty expires on. (Must be in a YYYY-MM-DD format)

### Example

```
FM_api('Asset_setWarranty',[
  'id'=>'466369',
  'val'=>'2032-12-25'
]);
```

### Result

#### On Success

```
{'ok':1}
```

#### On Failure

If the "id" parameter is not set, or has a value less than 1:

```
{"error":"missing or invalid parameter: id"}
```

If the "val" parameter does not fit the pattern YYYY-MM-DD:

```
{"error":"val must be in YYYY-MM-DD format"}
```
