When to use this endpoint

Use Tasks_listByLastEdited for a legacy polling pass that only needs changed IDs before fetching details separately.

Authentication and permissions

The request must establish an authenticated tenant context with signed API credentials or a logged-in CRM session. This legacy handler uses the tenant database prefix without calling the normal login guard.

It performs no task, page, role, ownership, or privacy-permission check. Any visibility restriction described below comes from request filters or a specific server-side rule, not from a general Tasks permission check.

Parameters

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
fromDatetime stringYesLower bound in exact YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS shape. The regular expression checks shape, not calendar validity.

Example request

$ids = FM_api('Tasks_listByLastEdited', [
	'from' => '2026-09-28 00:00:00',
]);

Example response

[
  "318",
  "322"

Errors and unusual responses

ResponseCondition
{"error":"not logged in"}No authenticated tenant context is available. Invalid signed credentials can be rejected by the dispatcher before the handler runs.
{"error":"missing \"from\" parameter, or parameter is in wrong format. should be \"yyyy-mm-dd hh:ii:ss\""}from is absent or fails the exact digit-and-separator pattern.

Legacy application errors may be returned with HTTP 200. Check the decoded response for error, not only the HTTP status.

Behaviour and edge cases

  • The comparison is inclusive: last_edited >= from. There is no upper bound, pagination, ordering, or maximum row count.
  • Soft-deleted tasks are excluded. Privacy, creator, and assignee are not checked.
  • IDs remain JSON strings. A value such as an impossible month can pass shape validation and is left to database comparison semantics.
