Asset tables
Delete an Asset Table row
/a/AssetTable_deleteRow
Permanently remove one Asset Table row when its row, asset, and table IDs all match.
When to use this endpoint
Use AssetTable_deleteRow for the Delete action beside a row in an asset’s configured table.
Authentication and permissions
The request must establish an authenticated tenant through signed API-key fields or a CRM session. The handler checks tenant context but performs no page, role, or feature-permission check.
The delete is constrained to the authenticated tenant table.
Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
id | Integer string | Yes | Row ID. Exact 0 is accepted as a deliberate no-op; negative values are rejected. |
aid | Integer string | Yes | Positive asset ID used as an additional delete condition. Asset existence is not checked. |
tid | Integer string | Yes | Positive table ID used as an additional delete condition. Definition existence is not checked. |
Example request
$result = FM_api('AssetTable_deleteRow', [
'id' => '92',
'aid' => '418',
'tid' => '1700000000123',
]);
Example response
{
"ok": 92
}
ok repeats the integer-converted row ID; it does not report the number of rows deleted.
Errors and unusual responses
| Response | Condition |
|---|---|
{"error":"not logged in"} | No authenticated tenant context is available. Invalid signed credentials can be rejected by the dispatcher before the handler runs. |
{"error":"missing or invalid parameter: id"} | id is absent or negative. |
{"error":"missing or invalid parameter: aid"} | aid is absent or not positive. |
{"error":"missing or invalid parameter: tid"} | tid is absent or not positive. |
Legacy application errors may be returned with HTTP 200. Check the decoded response for error, not only the HTTP status.
Behaviour and edge cases
- All three IDs must match one stored row.
id=0skips the database statement and returns{"ok":0}.
Side effects
- Hard-deletes the matching row and invalidates the Asset Table cache. It writes no activity entry.
