When to use this endpoint

Use for the legacy Quotes tag editor before changing tags. The reply is a bare value, unlike Quote_getNotes’s named envelope.

Authentication and permissions

Authenticates a signed API key or CRM session as its tenant user. Requires Quotes View (pageQuotes_view). Non-admin users blocked by legacy crm_access bit 32 are denied. Roleless non-admin users fail closed. Client administrators inherit page permissions.

Uses local tenant IDs. No additional Quote owner/department predicate is applied; these endpoints do not return a visibility-filtered Job list.

Parameters

ParameterTypeRequiredDescription

Errors and unusual responses

ResponseCondition
{"error":"not logged in"}No authenticated tenant context is available. Invalid signed credentials can be rejected by the dispatcher before the handler runs.
{"error":"missing or invalid parameter: id"}ID missing/null/nonpositive; checked before the DBP login guard.
{"error":"invalid quote id"}No active quote or failed row lookup. The unguarded ID access can also emit a PHP warning before this legacy error.

Legacy application errors may be returned with HTTP 200. Check the decoded response for error, not only the HTTP status.

Behaviour and edge cases

  • Reads deleted=0 rows. Empty/false-like outer meta uses []; invalid JSON normally results in no tags and an empty string. Missing tag property returns an empty string.
  • The dedicated setter stores escaped text, which this reader does not decode or split. Historically mapped array/object values retain their decoded shape. No date/filter/search/order/paging controls or access timestamp.
  • No direct mobile app/m-service caller for this RPC was found. This is a CRM quotation workflow.

Side effects

  • Read-only; no cache invalidation, history, repair or messages.

CRM1

Quotes → Tags loads Quote_getTags, edits one tag per line and calls Quote_setTags.

CRM2

No direct Quote_getTags caller found. moduleQuotes uses mapped metadata fields.
